La saga A Neighbor from Hell es una de las sagas más locas, divertidas y apasionadas que he leído en mucho tiempo. R. L. Mathewson tiene un humor inteligente y ha creado a todo un clan de hombres destinados únicamente a volvernos locas.

Double Dare es el sexto libro de esta serie que me encanta, aunque este libro no me ha llenado ni me ha gustado tanto como sus predecesores. Supongo que siempre tiene que haber alguno más flojo.

Marybeth y Darrin llevan siendo amigos desde la infancia, y siempre han vivido para atormentarse mutuamente, provocándose, retándose a hacer las más alocadas cosas. Han ido creciendo juntos y se han convertido en los mejores amigos y "enemigos". La familia de Darrin siempre la ha hecho sentir una más y por eso siempre ha formado parte de cada evento, de cada situación. Los dos juntos... un auténtico peligro. Así que cuando las cosas empezaron a cambiar y a transformarse de una simple amistad a una relación explosiva, tuvieron que mantenerla en secreto. Pero no sólo era eso lo que escondían... Marybeth siempre ha mantenido cierta distancia con Darrin y le lleva ocultando algo durante mucho tiempo, algo que podría cambiar el modo en que él la mira y su futuro juntos. Pero las cosas se están poniendo cada vez más serias, Darrin quiere dejar de mantener su relación en secreto y la presiona cada vez más, lo cual puede suponer el final.

"I want you" he said firmly as he kissed the corner of her mouth "and sooner or later you're going to realize that" 
"I..." she started to say only to pause so that she could lick her lips and bite back a moan as Darrin suddenly shifted over her and settled between legs "What are you doing?"
"Taking a different approach" he said, kissing his way down to her neck right around the time that he sifted his hips and let her know exactly what he had in mind.
"I thought that you wanted to discuss this," she said, bitting back a moan as she turned her head, giving him better access.
"That was taking too long," he explained, gently sucking on her neck and driving her crazy as he reached between them and palmed her breast. 
"And having sex is supposed to settle this?" she asked, wrapping her arms around him with a gasp as he gave her breast a squeeze. 
"It couldn't hurt" he said, kissing his way down as he shifted his hand away from her breast.

Aunque no ha estado mal, y le pongo 3 estrellas siendo generosa, no es el mejor libro de la saga, con mucha diferencia. 

No me ha divertido tanto como los otros, aunque los personajes se la jueguen mutuamente desde la niñez.

Me ha parecido mucho más centrado que los demás en el tema del sexo, sexo, sexo que en describir y mostrar realmente la dinámica de la pareja protagonista. Sí, están constantemente provocándose y haciéndose putadas (perdonar la palabra) pero parece que en lo único en lo que piensan realmente es en f***ar. Así, tal cual.

¿El final?Bueno, es cuqui aunque muy predecible.

¿Las vueltas que dan? no me han gustado tanto.

En fin, un libro entretenido para pasar un buen rato de lectura. Ardiente y con un toque picante y divertido. Siempre es un gusto ver a los hombres Bradford en acción...jejeje
