Reconozco que cuando supe de la existencia de la saga Titan y de que tendría a Seth como protagonista, tuve sentimientos encontrados. Por un lado, estaba entusiasmada por leer más libros de mi querida JLA y además seguía con el mundo Covenant que adoro; por otro, no terminé odiando a Seth al final de Centinela, pero tampoco lo adoraba. Así pues, empecé la saga Titan no muy segura de si me podría enganchar a Seth. Y si habéis leído la saga Covenant entenderéis por qué tenía mis reservas. Sin embargo, al poco de empezar el primer libro, The Return, me fui enamorando de Seth y, poquito a poco, ha conseguido hacerse un hueco en mi corazoncito.

La saga Titan, compuesta por 4 libros, ha tenido sus altibajos (creo que como todas las sagas), pero en general ha seguido una línea ascendente y, para mí, cada libro es mejor que el anterior, hasta llegar a The Prophecy, un cierre magnífico para una saga llena de aventura, misterios, giros inesperados, drama, romance y pasión. Seth es arrollador, pero en estos libros además muestra su lado vulnerable y dulce, lo que hace que te acabes derritiendo con él. Josie va creciendo con cada libro y es maravilloso ver cómo se va transformando en la mujer fuerte y decidida que es al final.

No puedo contaros muchos aspectos del libro sin caer en spoilers, pero Seth es increíblemente dulce y sobreprotector y me encanta. Los dioses, por otro lado, en su línea. Egoístas, implacables, pero también justos (a su manera). En The Prophecy los Titanes hacen menos apariciones que en los anteriores libros pero cuando lo hacen, su crueldad es desmedida. Seth deberá enfrentarse, además, a las consecuencias de sus actos y eso le dejará profundas marcas. Pero si quiere un mundo mejor para él y para Josie, tiene que convertirse en una versión mucho mejor de sí mismo. Y lo conseguirá, os doy mi palabra.
Josie y Seth deberán enfrentarse a situaciones y decisiones muy difíciles y para cumplir con su cometido, encerrar a los Titanes de nuevo, deberán realizar grandes sacrificios.

Otra de las cosas que más me gustan de este libro y de la saga, es haber podido conectar de nuevo con personajes muy queridos de la saga Covenant: Alex y Aiden (¡mi Aiden!), Deacon y Luke, Apollo...En fin, una maravilla y un gustazo. 

The Prophecy tiene un ritmo vertiginoso y no puedes soltarlo desde que lo coges hasta el final. Y se lee en un suspiro. Jennifer L. Armentrout lo logra una vez más. No es una saga perfecta, pero tiene muchos puntos fuertes y engancha con facilidad. Se disfruta y entretiene. Este último libro, como los anteriores, tiene momentazos super divertidos y otros muy dramáticos. Y las escenas de romance y pasión son...magníficas. Y, además, como decía, tiene unos giros bastante sorprendentes y escenas de esas que te dejan con el corazón desbocado y la boca abierta (Y no siempre por algo bueno, la verdad) Hay mucha variedad de matices y momentos en este último libro, lo cual lo convierte en un libro muy completo y muy bien trazado. Es un gran final, en mi opinión. Tanto es así, que me he quedado con muchas ganas de más e incluso estoy pensando hacer una relectura de la saga Covenant y de ésta en un futuro próximo.

En fin... os recuerdo que tenéis disponibles los dos primeros títulos en español (El Retorno y El Poder). Esperemos que Kiwi siga trayendo estos libros porque es una saga que merece MUCHO la pena, la verdad.
